JUI-F leader Fazl-ur-Rehman is set to visit Nawaz Sharif, the supreme leader of the PML-N, at his residence in Jati Umra, Lahore.

During their one-on-one meeting, the two politicians will discuss a potential formula for seat adjustments between their parties in the upcoming general elections, according to sources.

Additionally, Nawaz Sharif and Fazl will deliberate on the formation of committees for the provinces of Punjab, Sindh, Balochistan, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

On Monday, Nawaz Sharif presided over a meeting of the PML-N parliamentary board for the 2024 general elections, as reported by party sources.

Today, he is actively involved in interviewing candidates who aspire to contest elections in Rawalpindi, Attock, and Chakwal districts.

Since his return from London, the former prime minister has taken a proactive role in preparing his party for the upcoming elections.

It's worth noting that the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has officially scheduled the general elections for February 8, 2024.
